Christmas is coming!  What better way to bring the whole community together at this festive time than by a beautiful Christmas Fair at St Philip and St James Church.

This wonderful free-entry event for visitors will be held on Saturday December 2nd at St Philips with the support of Independent Street. 10am – 4pm.

In the grounds of the church, you will find the Independent Street Artisan Markets, who champion small and independent business. There will be 60 carefully selected stalls showcasing the very best of local food, drink, arts and craft, plus street food and many gift ideas set to inspire. There will also be live acoustic performances from local musicians and performers.

Inside the church you will find additional community stalls, teas, coffees and mulled wine to warm you all. There will also be a brass band playing, choirs, church bell and a teddy bear zip line in full swing! Plus arts and craft activities for little ones.

In the parish rooms you can expect to find toddler play and a Santa’s grotto, meaning there is plenty to keep the whole family entertained.

An event like this is a great way to showcase local talent and promote small business whilst also being a fantastic family outing discovering the unique selection of foods and crafts on offer.
